AFPHema had recently shared that she wished Lata Mangeshkar had sung for her in 1979 film “Meera" and that will remain the one regret of her career. The actress said that she had even requested the singer personally, but she had her own reasons for not singing in the film..
Well, all that is past now and today the two are mutual fans and that’s evident from the exchange of tweets between the stars.
“@dreamgirlhema Namaskar priya Hema ji. Aaj aap ke Janamdin par meri aap ko bohot shubh kaamanaayein (On your birthday, I wish you all the best). Ishwar aap ko humesha khush rakhe (May god always keep you happy),” Lata Mangeshkar tweeted.
The “Sholay” star replied saying:"@mangeshkarlata Bahut Bahut dhanyavaad Lataji (Thank you Lataji)!"
Hema has chosen to spend a "quiet" birthday with her elder daughter Esha and son-in-law Bharat Takhtani.
