But, the actor has decided to go for a completely different look in her next film — Action Jackson.
The first look of Sonakshi in her upcoming film Action Jackson is out and it's quite impressive. The actress is seen sporting a navy blue short length dress with a checkered sweatshirt tied around the waist teamed with ankle length boots.
Sonakshi Sinha in her new look.What's evident from the look: The 'Dabanng' girl has lost oodles of weight.
It seems the 27-year-old actress is quite excited about her new look. She posted a picture on Facebook saying: "My #firstlook in #ActionJackson! You like?"
Action Jackson is an action comedy that will see filmmaker Prabhu Dheva collaborating with Ajay Devgn for the first time. The film also stars Yaami Gautam, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Rocky Verma in prominent roles.
Produced by Gordhan Tanwani under the banner Baba Arts Limited Production, the film is slated to release on 5 December, 2014.
Recently, Action Jackson was in the news for a controversy over its title. Warner Bros' 1988 Hollywood film featuring Carl Weathers and Sharon Stone released with the same name and the production house gave the makers of the Bollywood version a 48-hour notice to change the title as Action Jackson is registered by them for the sub-continent as well.
