Lack of logic, not talent, has Windies in a spin by FP Staff Oct 15, 2014 13:24 IST #Hollywood #Padma Lakshmi #Richard Gere #Split #Top Chef After a whirlwind romance that was carefully hidden from the public eye, Hollywood star Richard Gere has reportedly parted ways with model Padma Lakshmi. Their relationship lasted for six months.
The 44-year-old supermodel and 'Top Chef' host was recently asked in a television interview about her love life, and she said she is single, reported the New York Post.

AFPAccording to reports, the two first started seeing each other last spring. At that time Gere was going through a divorce from his wife of 11 years, Carey Lowell.
However, neither star ever acknowledged the relationship, nor were they photographed together in public.
The representatives of both the celebrities have not been commented on the issue yet.
Lakshmi, 44, has a 4-year-old daughter, Krishna, with Adam Dell, and was married to writer Salman Rushdie for three years. before her romance with the late billionaire Teddy Forstmann.
Gere, 65, separated from wife Lowell — with whom he has a teenage son, Homer. He was also married to supermodel Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995.
But it seems Padma Lakshmi isn't too bothered by the breakup. Daily Mail spotted her smiling broadly as she stepped out in New York City sporting a pair of bright red jeans and coordinating black and red top, suggesting that she might not be going through break-up blues.
